Group Safety is of paramount importance on all of our holidays. We have spent a great deal of time setting up a Safety Management System in order to maximise the safety of all or passengers at all times. Our staff are also on hand to help with completion of required paperwork and offer support and advice. Find out more below...
Book With Confidence: ABTA Members operate under a strict Code of Conduct, to promote your best interests. You can be confident that the descriptions of your travel arrangements have been compiled under comprehensive guidelines set by ABTA to ensure clarity and accuracy. The Code of Conduct means that every ABTA tour operator has to work to the highest standards of service and quality. Many of the travel arrangements provided by ABTA Members are protected in case of the financial failure of the travel company.
On The Piste Travel’s objectives for our safety management system are as follows: 1) To take every reasonable measure to reduce the risk of accidents. 2) To ensure that our products and services comply with the current local, national and/or international standards applicable. 3) To maintain accurate records of our suppliers through our risk assessments. 4) To train our staff so that they are able to carry out their duties inline with the SMS and provide the highest levels of safety available to our customers. 5) To allow review and amendment of the system where necessary based on feedback from clients, staff and suppliers. 6) To allow group leaders to be confident that they have chosen a competent operator for their tour. Please feel free to download a copy of our SMS.
We have a generic risk assessment for schools holidays and are able to help with the completion of risk assessments for a specific tour. We also have a clearly defined code of conduct for our groups which outlines the roles of our representatives, teachers and pupils during the tour.
